The Invitations for your Quinceañera

July 14, 2008 | [ 0 ]

InvitationsPresses and specialized invitation shops offer a great variety of invitations, but you can also elaborate them yourself on the computer and e-mail them.

The Design
To decide your invitations design you have thousands of options. You can select a wedding style or a countless number of designs found on the Internet and presses. You can design them yourself and send them to a press. For example; place a photograph when you were a beautiful baby and an actual one, write your name decorated with flowers, etc. Make sure you do not change the theme’s color when you have already selected your invitation’s design.

Invitation Text Samples:

  • “It is my pleasure to invite you to celebrate my fifteenth birthday put together by my parents in my honor…on…”
  • “I… would like to thank God and my parents for all these precious years in which they have shown me love and support,…Now that I have become a young lady, I am planning my future and would like to extend my love and gratitude to my family, whom have guided me throughout these fifteen years (here you can thank your grand-parents and people who made your dreams come true). I would like to cordially invite you celebrate my fifteenth birthday…”
  • “Mr… and Mrs… thank you for your presence at the ceremony offered in their daughter’s honor… on her fifteenth birthday…”
  • “I would like to thank God for allowing me to turn fifteen, I…along with my parents…invite you to the ceremony…”

If you are Hispanic and live in The United States you have the option to make your invitations in Spanish or English. Select the language which your family feels comfortable with, if it is Spanish, you should type the text and take it to the press. Make sure that there are no misspelling errors. Make sure they do not charge you extra for correcting hyphen errors. Seek the lowest prices.

Create your own invitations
After selecting your favorite style, color or theme, languages, and text, purchase the paper or material desired for your invitation and print them in your computer. There is another less expensive alternative, you can e-mail them. If you selected this option make sure to have all your guests’ e-mail addresses with anticipation.
Remember that some of your guests may not have internet access, so your will have to use both, regular mail and e-mail.
