Crazy idea – quince and pool party ?

I have had a few long talk w my parents about my quince.  I was thinking of something less formal, they say super traditional, all formal, do all the dances… I love dressing up and going all formal, that’s not the problem, but I worry about it getting too tight and no chance to cut lose a bit. Then I got an idea: the place where we are having it has a great pool. How about a pool party part of it ? They say it’s ok to go for the pool once the traditional part is over.

Now I got a really wild idea: how about if I and my friends all go into the pool just like that ? It would be sooo cool to just jump in, in my quince dress, high heels and the whole thing ! And I think at least most of my friends would go for it as well. Any thoughts ? Anyone who has been to one like that ?
