Bianka Granados, 14, Brianna Castellanos, 16, Sophia Sepulveda, 15, and Kenia Robles, 15, are the Top 4 Finalists chosen to move on to the finals of the Quinceanera.com Magazine 2012 San Diego Cover Girl contest.

During the semifinals event, which took place on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in San Diego, Ca, the contestants for Quinceanera.com Magazine’s 2012 San Diego Quinceanera Cover Girl contest stated why they are the perfect candidate to be on the cover of the magazine’s last issue of the year. During the event, they also showcased their modeling skills with an onstage runway competition and took part of an onstage interview with the judges. Scroll down for photos.
The judges were: Irma Ruiz and Norma Ramos from Crowne Plaza Hotel San Diego, Maria Lupe Hernandez, Community Events Coordinator at EC Hispanic Media, and Jazzel Garcia, 2012 Image Model for Quinceanera.com. > Submissions for the 2013 Image Model for Quinceanera.com are now being accepted.
The judges scored the semifinalists on their runway walk and overall stage performance before deliberating and choosing the Top 4 Finalists from which the public will vote for the new cover girl.
Once the Top 4 Finalists were selected and announced on stage, the audience had the opportunity to cast the first votes for their favorite candidate.
Online voting is now open for the 2012 San Diego Quinceanera.com Magazine Cover Girl and will remain open until Friday, September 28, 6:00 p.m. PST. The most number of votes will determine the winner.
The winner of the contest will be announced on Tuesday, October 2 through the Quinceanera.com newsletter, and will be awarded with the choice between $700 or a Quinceañera dress, her own featured interview in the San Diego 2012 issue of Quinceanera.com Magazine, and will kick off the fashion show at the 2012 San Diego Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion Show held on October 14, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Registration to the event is free.
